Changes in Requesting Telephone/Network Services

ITS is streamlining the process for requesting telephone and network services. The following changes are effective immediately:


New Forms

  • All forms have been converted to an online format, eliminating the need to accept work orders via fax or on-campus mail.
  • ITS will secure account signatories electronically.
  • Review a list of our new forms at http://www.albany.edu/its/ITS_forms.htm .

New Contact Information

  • Assistance previously provided by the Telecommunications Service Center is now provided by the ITS Help Desk.
  • For problems, help, or to request network access or telephone services, please call the ITS Help Desk at (518) 442-3700 x2 or submit an online request at www.albany.edu/its/help.
  • All requests and correspondence will be conducted via the ITS ticketing system.

These changes make it easier for customers to request services and for ITS to respond to those requests in a timely manner. If you have any questions, please contact the ITS Help Desk at (518) 442-3700 x2.
