ITS has received some reports of people having problems with uploading PowerPoint files to Blackboard (either complete failure or extremely lengthy upload time) as well as sporadic complaints of slowness in navigating or access to Blackboard.  Analysis of these incidents is ongoing to discover a possible root cause of the problem.  The following workaround has proven successful in most cases.


System Compatibility and Health

Be sure you are using a device that is compatible with Blackboard and your browser version is up to date.  Additionally, periodically you should clear your browser cache.

Network Access

In some cases, connecting to the UAlbany VPN can eliminate issues that might negatively affect your connection to Blackboard.
