Before attempting to configure a mail client or mobile device, please confirm that your password is initialized for the University's email system.
- Go to http://outlook.com
- Login with your Windows Live ID (your University email address) and your password
- If you are successful with login to Outlook Web Access (OWA), you can Sign Out and proceed with configuring your client or device.
- If you are NOT successful ...
- Error: The email address or password is incorrect. Please try again [Reason: Your UAlbany Mail password is not initialized; complete the Password Reset.]
- Error: Account is locked [Reason: Too many failed login attempts; contact the ITS Help Desk .]
