Features

Instructions for Single Line Phones (NEC analog phone, Vodavi analog speakerphone)

  • Call the first number (can be on or off campus); ask party to hold.
  • Press the Flash button and listen for the stutter dial tone.
  • Dial the second number; when party answers, ask them to hold while you connect the other party.
  • Press the Flash button a second time. All parties should now be connected.

    If one party hangs up, the other two remain connected.

    • If you cannot reach the second party due to busy signal or no answer, press the Flash button a second time to reconnect to the first party.
    • To reconnect to the first party after reaching voicemail, press ‘*’ key three times to disconnect from voicemail, then press the Flash button to reconnect to the first party.

Instructions for Multi-Line Display Phones (Dterm series, all models)

  • Call first number (can be on or off campus); ask party to hold.
  • Press Transfer/TRF button, listen for stutter dial tone.
  • Dial second number; when party answers, ask them to hold while you connect the other party.
  • Press Conf/CNF button. All parties should now be connected.

    If one party hangs up, the other two remain connected.

    • If you cannot reach the second party due to busy signal or no answer, press Transfer/TRF button a second time to reconnect to the first party.
    • To reconnect to the first party after reaching voicemail, press ‘*’ key three times to disconnect from voicemail, then press Transfer/TRF button to reconnect to the first party.
