Action

To renew the license for SAS data analysis software, follow the steps below.

Instructions

1. Request a new license file for SAS via the ITS Software Catalog
2. Wait to receive the new file before proceeding
3. Close SAS on your computer
4. Navigate to C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86)
5. Open the SASHome folder
6. Open the License folder
7. Move the expired/old license file (*.txt) to another location (don't delete it yet as a precaution)
8. Copy the new license file you received to the License folder
9. Launch SAS, which should now use the new license file
