What should I do if I have lost my Duo Hardware Token?

Those who are given a Duo Hardware Token from ITS are responsible for keeping their token secure. If you misplace, break, or believe your Duo Hardware token been stolen, you must disable it as soon as possible. To deactivate your token you will need to use your backup second factor to prove your identity which will then allow you to modify your 2-Step Login settings.  If you do not have access to your backup second factor, please contact the Service Desk and they can provide you with a temporary method to access your account.

How can I replace a lost, stolen or damaged Duo Hardware Token

You are responsible for replacing your Duo Hardware Token if lost, stolen, or damaged.  For assistance or guidance, please contact the ITS Service Desk at 518-442-3700.

What should I do if I no longer use my Duo Hardware Token or leave the University?

Please return the token to ITS.  Tokens can be reused and redistributed to someone else in need on campus.
