Before attempting to configure a mail client or mobile device, please confirm that your password is initialized for the University's email system.
- Go to http://outlook.com/albany.edu
- Log in with your Windows Live ID (your University email address) and your password.
- If you are successful with the logon to Outlook Web Access (OWA), you can Sign Out and proceed with configuring your client or device.
- If you are NOT successful ...
- Error: "The email address or password is incorrect. Please try again." indicates your UAlbany Mail password is not initialized. Complete the Password Reset.
- Error: "Account is locked" indicates you have too many failed logon attempts; contact the ITS Help Desk for assistance.
