Once you have mapped your network drive in OS X, you can choose to have that drive be automatically mapped each time you log in.  To do this, you will need to move the drive into your startup items:

  1. Go to System Preferences > Users & Groups.
  2. On the right side choose Login Items.
  3. Drag the shared drive from your desktop into the the Login Items box:
  4. The next time you log in to your computer your drive should be auto-mounted.
