You can access folders shared with you in OneDrive for Business on a mobile device via Microsoft Office Apps for iPad, Office Mobile for iPhone, Office Mobile for Windows Phone, or Office Mobile for Android Phones app.
To add folders shared with you from someone else to your Office app:
- Open the Office app.
- Add a new 'place'.
- Add your OneDrive for Business location as a SharePoint site (not "Office 365 SharePoint") in this format: https://livealbany-my.sharepoint.com/personal/shareralias_albany_edu. For example, if the alias (the first part of the UAlbany Mail email address, before the @albany.edu part) of the person sharing a folder with you is jdoe, then enter https://livealbany-my.sharepoint.com/personal/jdoe_albany_edu.
OneDrive for Business is part of a larger Microsoft Office 365 service called SharePoint Online.
