  5. In bottom box scroll down to Circulation Note
  6. Write storage number on sheet with call number and/or title

Retrieving Items from Storage

  • Take the keys marked CCBE CCBW from on top of the lockbox in SL 140, sign it out in notebook on the paperclip attached to the lockbox
  • Go down to Storage, open door (if closed) and turn on lights if off (small touch panel to the right of door)
  • Storage numbers are by compact shelving range (01-100), section (A-Z) and shelf (1-9)
  • Ranges 01-[50?] are the first set of compact shelving, with (51-100?) being behind that. (Do we use the third row of compact shelving to the far right?)
    • Sections are on both sides of a range with A-[G?] being on the first face and (H-Q?) on the second face in the first set of shelving and (A-J] on the first face and (K-Z) on the second face of the second set of shelving
    • The top shelf in each section will be 1 and the bottom will be 7
  • Find book by call number on shelf indicated by storage number
  • You may need to use either the small or tall step ladder to reach the upper shelves
  • Once you have book make sure that the article is in the book (or that it is the correct book title)
  • Bring item back up to circulation for Patron or ILL processing
  • Remember to return the keys to the top of the lockbox and sign it back in
