  • ACCESS HRA NYC: You can apply for the Supplemental Nutrition Program at SNAP provides nutrition benefits to supplement the food budget of families in need.
  • Fair Fares NYC: This program allows eligible New York City residents to receive a 50% discount on subway and eligible bus fares. Find more info at

  • Jackbox Games: Take your virtual gaming to the next level with fun interactive games you can share with friends, like Murder Trivia Party and Quiplash. Save money by purchasing a party pack. Go to
  • Netflix Party: You can still watch TV with your friends while distancing yourselves physically. Download the Google Chrome extension at, log into your Netflix account, and then click the "NP" icon in your toolbar to start broadcasting your session. Share the link with friends, so you can watch and chat at the same time.
  • Videochat w/ Zoom: Go to to login and download Zoom. Your UAlbany NET ID and password get you special features. You aren't limited to 40-minute sessions, and you can video chat with multiple participants. You can also share your browser, an application, or your entire screen with participants, and you can use a white board as well. This makes Zoom great for socializing and playing games with friends.
