NOTE: On Tuesday, 8/18/15, ITS will be performing an upgrade to Wikis @ UAlbany. The upgrade will bring notable improvements in functionality and appearance. The wiki service may be unavailable from 8am until 2pm that day. Please plan your work accordingly.   
Information sessions about the new version are being offered by ITS.  Visit to register for an information session on using the wiki service. 
  • Wiki spaces are currently designed to support instructional and  non-instructional endeavors in support of University-related activities. Faculty/staff members who are actively employed may request a wiki. Recognized student organizations will need a Faculty/Staff member to sponsor and serve as primary owner of a wiki. The current service is not designed to support wiki spaces for individual use.
  • If you need help setting up or using your wiki, see the Confluence documentation or the Wikis @ UAlbany page. Wiki Training is also available.
  • To apply for a wiki space, fill out the form here.  Please note requests will be processed within 2 to 3 business days.
  • Use of Wikis @ UAlbany is restricted to authorized users and is covered by the Responsible Use of Information Technology Policy.
  • Wikis are web pages, and should therefore abide by the University's Universal Web Accessibility Policy.
  • If you have trouble using Internet Explorer or Chrome to edit your wiki pages, we recommend that you use Firefox.

Where do I start?

Wikis @ UAlbany uses Confluence.  All content in Confluence is organized into spaces. So to start browsing content, simply click on one of the public spaces listed below.  To access your private spaces, you will first need to log in. You can do so by clicking the "Log In" link at the top right of this page. Enter your NetID and password.
